Promoting art in the community, thinking of ways to spread
the word that our beautiful community on the Mississippi Gulf Coast has many venues, exhibiting the beautiful works of our talented artists.
One Important Thing I’ve Learned Along the Way: Being respectful of others, their time, talents, abilities, opinions, and responsibilities.
My Strengths: Having a loving support team, gives me the strength to move forward each day. The ability to delegate
is important, we can’t do everything ourselves, we must have assistance to be accomplishing.
Best Business Advice I Ever Received: When you are overwhelmed with things that need to be accomplished,
tackle one task at a time, at a comfortable pace, then move on to the next.
Words of Wisdom to Other Women: Learn about yourself. You are a better companion, friend, parent, and leader, if you have an inner strength. Knowing your own strengths, weaknesses, likes and dislikes, hopes, dreams and abilities gives you the foundation you will need to help support the ones you love.
One Lesson I Learned the
Hard Way: Look for the good
in people, places and things. Know the negatives but overlook
them, focus on the positives. The negatives will drain you and the positives will lift you up.
I Lead By: I lead by Listening. It is important to pay attention. Listen to what you are being told. Listen to your heart and listen to your intuition, but most of all listen to the Lord.
Tools of the Trade: If you want to be successful, as the saying goes “you must eat sleep and breathe it.” However, if you don’t stop
to refuel you will not be able to proceed “full speed ahead.”
