In addition, the water was still quite high as it had been for the past several weeks, which made for slow fishing. Nonetheless, we proceeded to work several spots that Captain Clyde had previously scouted. By the time we headed back to the lodge for Janelle’s fish taco lunch, we had finally found the crappie, though not in the large numbers he typically catches.
So while conditions had been tough, we still managed to find some fish and have a great time at the Rock-n-Dock lodge.
