Clayton A. Stevens, M.D. Ophthalmologist/Eye Surgeon
Dr. Stevens, a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, completed his medical
degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi. After finishing his internship in internal medicine at UMMC, he then completed his training in ophthalmology at Tulane Hospital in New
Orleans. He worked for a little over a year in Texas before returning home
to join Benefield Eye Care. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Stevens is passionate about all areas
of ophthalmology; however, he specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery. He also thoroughly enjoys helping patients with dry eye and diabetic eye disease. He believes in staying up to date with the latest advances in eye care and hopes to continue the excellent reputation of personalized
and compassionate care that

on the Gulf Coast.
Dr. Stevens is thrilled to be home where he and his wife can raise their three children in the
