Michael Bruffey
Michael Bruffey has worked for 19 years as legal council in the gaming industry, currently serving
as Vice President-General Counsel to Island View Casino Resort. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi as well as the University
of Mississippi School of Law. This year, Bruffey celebrates 25 years as a practicing attorney.
Bruffey also works for the Mississippi Gaming & Hospitality Association alongside Executive Director Larry Gregory. Together, they provide responsible gaming training to operators around the state, and host the Southern Gaming Summit each May, which attracts gaming industry leaders from around the country. Each year they publish a report on the State of the Gaming Industry.
Bruffey has also been involved with several community organizations, including the Nativity School Foundation, Biloxi Little League, Biloxi Soccer Organization, the YMCA and the Gulf Coast Community Foundation. He enjoys golf, shing, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He resides in Biloxi with his wife and together they have three children.
