I am a safety lawyer. My entire legal career has been focused on holding rule breakers accountable for the mayhem they cause. I am particularly proud of my work encouraging responsible sale and consumption of alcohol with a goal of preventing dangerous driving.
For over 25 years I have worked for Morris Bart, LTD, one of the largest personal injury rms in the country; I have managed the Mississippi division of the rm for nearly that entire time.
I stress quality representation through focus groups and mock trials using our own practice courtroom. To stay on the cutting edge of litigation, I am also a member of the faculty at the Keenan Trial Institute where I teach trial strategy with an emphasis on jury selection.
I have been recognized by multiple national merit-based organizations and I am AV-Rated “Preeminent” by Martindale. com. I am also one of only nine lawyers in Mississippi to earn the designation of Board Certi cation in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
While the accolades are always nice, I can say without reservation that I love what I do. I am passionate about how I help make our community safer through my work.
When I am not in the of ce, you may nd me sailing my beach catamaran in Ocean Springs, teaching Judo at the club I co-own (Gulf Coast Judo), or spending time with my wife and two nearly grown boys.
