“You have to be able to bark and yell at other attorneys, clash with them and ght tooth and nail, and then let it go when it’s over,” he says. “It’s the nature of litigation. Some attorneys succumb to the stress and cave in, and some thrive on it. I’m one who thrives on it.”
Because of his aggressive approach, Krause has earned the name Lawdog, which he has incorporated into his practice. His motto is, “When you need a lawyer, get a dog.”
He was inspired to pursue a career in law after hearing the story of an orphan who became the owner of a worldwide company, putting up $50 million to start a law school. Throughout his law career, Krause has kept that story in mind.
What Krause enjoys most about his job is the people he works for, saying that his clients often become life long friends.
Outside of the court room, the Lawdog can be found spending time with friends and family, working out, or hanging out at some of his favorite haunts on Government Street.
