TOP PRODUCERS
The Gulf Coast Association of Realtors recently announced its 2017 Top Producer award winners at a banquet held at the Great Southern Club. This year, 95 honorees were awarded this distinction.
So what makes a Top Producer? The various award levels are based on production, and according
to Danny Lee, president of the Gulf Coast Association
of Realtors and agent with Ashman-Mollere Realty in Waveland, the number of honorees is higher than usual due to the strength of the real estate market.
“As a realtor, I know first-hand that it takes a lot of time, effort, and energy to make each transaction happen,” said Lee. “The appreciation we receive from our clients for
making those transactions a success is the biggest factor that drives us to do what we do, but there’s also a huge feeling of accomplishment when we can be recognized by our peers for the amount of work that we put in throughout the year. I think it’s that peer recognition that drives our members to want to attain the status of a Top Producer.”
The Top Producers program has been around since the mid 1970s and has recognized Gulf Coast Association of Realtors members for their outstanding devotion to the cause of private property ownership ever since. “We try to recognize those agents who go above and beyond,” Lee remarked.
