When it comes to describing Lillie’s Noodles Asian Cuisine and Sushi, words that readily come to mind are fresh, house-made and meaty. The restaurant, located on the first floor of the Golden Nugget Biloxi, has a new menu featuring something for everyone.
Restaurant Chef Tinh Nguyen said Lillie’s places an emphasis on freshness, and now has more Vietnamese dishes than when the restaurant opened and more dishes that can easily be shared and enjoyed family style. There are also a number of new small plate offerings. Don’t be fooled by the name, though
— there is nothing small about these servings.
Grab some friends or family members and try an order of shrimp shumai,
better known as shrimp dumpling, or the jumbo garlic wings, which are one of the restaurant’s most popular items. The wings have a delicious glaze, and every tasteful bite is a mixture of sweet citrus and spicy chili, while the light dumplings are full of shrimp and melt in your mouth.
Also on the small plates menu is
the avocado and tuna tartare, with marinated spicy tuna neatly compacted and topped with avocado slices and spun carrots. Served with shrimp chips, the big chunks of tuna in this refreshing dish are amazing. Another tuna plate
is the tataki. In this dish, the spicy
tuna is seared and sliced thin, layered with avocado and served with a ponzu ginger dressing. Both dishes are great to
