Nevada Bob’s now includes tennis equipment and apparel

There’s something new at Nevada Bob’s in Gulfport. The golf store is expanding to include equipment and apparel for another popular sport on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, tennis. Nevada Bob’s
Golf, located in Crossroads Mall just north of the
Interstate 10 and Highway 49 interchange, is now Nevada Bob’s Golf and Tennis.
“We will be dedicating 20 to 25 percent of our retail floor space to tennis equipment, including major brands of
tennis rackets, accessories, and apparel,” said Nevada Bob’s Manager Scott Jackson. “Nike tennis apparel and footwear will be a major part of the selection available to tennis players. As one of only two Nike tennis retailers in the state of Mississippi, Nevada Bob’s will make the most popular brand of tennis apparel available locally for the first time.”
He added that ladies apparel and equipment will play
a large role in the new tennis retail area. “As most tennis players know, it’s difficult to find a large selection of apparel and footwear without traveling or turning to internet retailers. We hope to fill the need for a tennis retail store in South Mississippi.”
Jackson says Nevada Bob’s observed that tennis is a large and growing sport in South Mississippi and saw the need to expand and offer a retail location to accommodate the tennis community. In addition to rackets, accessories, and apparel, Nevada Bob’s will carry a wide variety of tennis string and offer restringing services utilizing the extremely accurate Prince P7000 electronic stringing machine. “We have all your tennis and golf needs along with some good advice,” he said.
