Leslie Suit, REALTOR®
About Me: Leslie Suit knows that every real estate transaction is di erent, but that’s why she enjoys her job so much. She started her career as a way to manage family properties while having a exible schedule that allowed her to spend time with her young son, but found that being a REALTOR® was a profession that grew with her as her life progressed.
Suit loves working with people and excels when it comes to open communication. “Lots of emotions and di erent dynamics go into every real estate transaction, and managing all of those expec- tations is my biggest strong suit,” she says. “I try to look at all aspects of my life as if everything is a ministry, and I look at each client as if they were my own family. I always ask myself, ‘What can I do to help make someone’s life better or happier?’ I nd that approaching work in that way ensures a ful lling career and makes life long friendships and connections.”
Suit primarily works with buyers, helping them to nd their forever home. Being in a military community, she has represented a large number of military clients and considers VA loans to be one of her specialties. In addition, Suit enjoys working with retirees and newcomers.
Community involvement is important to Suit, who has a deep love of children’s charities instilled in her from her past experience with the Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport. She began a branch of the national program Blessings in a Backpack, a feeding program that send packs of food home with needy children on the weekends, with Trinity United Methodist church in 2012. “I started packing food in my living room, and we quickly grew from serving 25 children to 400 children per week at one time!” she said.
She has been past recipient of the RE/MAX Million Dollar Club Award, Highest First Commission Award for RE/MAX Dixie Region, and RE/MAX 100% Club. Suit has been past President of Bayou Blu Tennis Club and is currently serving
on its board for the second time. She is currently the HOA Pres- ident of Waterside Subdivision in Gulfport and has been past Vice-President of Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport where she remains a life member. She is also an alumni of Delta Delta Delta sorority.
