Over the past several months, many of us have found
ourselves in unfamiliar territory: sedentary at home
with maybe a little more time on our hands than we are
accustomed. If you’re like me, you decided to use your
time wisely. It was time to tackle spaces in my home
that had become overgrown with too much stu . Organize my pantry. Clean out my closet. I was going to take charge and make good use of a little down time and get my life in order.

However, if you are also like me, you accomplished absolutely none of this. Not one single thing. I found myself wandering
from room to room trying to  gure out exactly where to start and becoming increasingly overwhelmed. So, for a while, I just gave up.
Local entrepreneur Terri Brown, owner of Simple Organization Solutions, states that
the biggest mistake people make when trying to get organized is that they take on more than they can handle in one project. Brown believes you should confront one room or space at a time and  gure out what works
best for you. She also explains that you must be prepared to part ways with items that may have held value once upon a time, but that are currently taking up valuable real estate within your home.
So how do you get started? “A great way to get motivated is to visualize the fresh, de-cluttered space you’ll have once you tackle the project,” says Brittany Gianelloni of Visualize, LLC. “Out with the old and in with the new! Consider resale shops to earn commission from items of value.”
