The sun is shining, the birds are singing – spring is here! I don’t know about you, but I’m thrilled with the early arrival of the season. I’m so ready for warm sunshine and days spent enjoying the coastal breeze.
The March issue of South Mississippi Living celebrates spring with a special Home & Garden section.
Here you’ll find tips for the horticulturally challenged (such as myself), learn about the rhythm of plants and the vital role bees play in our ecosystem, as well as get some interior design advice from the experts.
Paired with these stories are some great healthy living features, one on medicinal plants and another on the importance of mental spring cleaning.
A very happy birthday to Mr. Jim Day of Triplett-Day Drug Co.! Mr. Day is a familiar and friendly face in the community and this month he celebrates his 90th birthday. Another noteworthy celebration is Hillyer House’s 50 year anniversary. Congratulations!
Rounding out this issue, Judy Steckler, executive director of the Land Trust for the Mississippi Coastal Plain gives her Final Say on the importance of conserving, promoting, and protecting our green spaces.
