Bringing the outside in is evident from all rooms through the large expanses of glass overlooking Bayou Porteaux and beyond to the view of Fort Bayou and Biloxi Bay. It’s easy to see how the home is peaceful and relaxing inside and out.
The coastal theme is emphasized in the charming powder room with its sea grass cloth and board-and-batten walls and ceiling. The mirror hangs from a shiny boat cleat over a custom made marble backsplash.
The living room has a gray linen sofa and chairs complimenting a television console painted to simulate driftwood. The Christmas tree is flocked and continues the traditional red and green theme. “Some of the ornaments go back 20 years,” Tammy said.

contribute to this
room’s appeal.

by Connie Mickle, a former Coast resident, and colorful Wauhatchie Glass from Hillyer House. There is artwork here and in other areas of the home by local artist Ginger Woechan. The Santa ‘caps’ bar stool covers are just the right touch for this time of year.
