For the collegiate sports fan, Sports Shack in D’Iberville
has some great gift options. “Depending on your team of choice, we offer a variety of licensed collegiate products such as our stainless steel logo mugs,” said Pam Thompson, the store’s owner. “We also have a stainless steel cowbell for the MSU fan.”
Holly Bourgeois, a local tennis player at Gulf Hills Racquet Club, says a great gift for any tennis player is a new tennis bag or towel. “Towels can be embroidered with tennis rackets, tennis balls, or even your initials,” said Bourgeois. “These items make great gifts
for tennis players because unlike tennis rackets, they do not have to be fitted or sized.”
Golfers are sure to love some of the newest club releases. “One
of our popular items is the new Titleist 917 driver,” said Scott Jackson, owner of Nevada Bob’s in Gulfport. “Titleist only releases new clubs every two years or so, so when a new one comes out, it’s a big deal. We also have the new Ping G Series driver. Golfers are tinkerers and they always want to try the new thing.”
“As a football fan, I would like to receive some
items of my
favorite team
for Christmas,” said Christian Myrick, webmaster
at Singing River Health System. “Logo apparel and merchandise,
tickets to games, or anything that has my team’s colors or logo. Anything related to my favorite team is awesome, and tickets always make a great Christmas gift.”
No matter the sport or team of choice, giving a sports fan exactly what he or she wants this holiday season is a no-brainer.
