SPORTS & OUTDOORS from our table to yours
The season’s football playoffs and bowl games are often enjoyed at gatherings with friends, and that means lots of tasty snacks. Here are a few recipes to help cheer your team to victory.
4 oz. cream cheese
1/4 cup buffalo sauce of your choice
2 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
Ranch dressing and parsley for garnish
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and buffalo sauce until smooth. Mix in chicken and cheese just until combined.
Unroll dough and arrange in a greased casserole dish so the longest ends of the triangles will
fold over the top of the casserole. Dough should overlap in the bottom of the dish to fully cover the bottom.
Spoon mixture into center of the dough and spread it evenly in the pan.
Bring the ends of the dough triangles across the top of the casserole and secure the points in the center
Bake for 20 minutes or until dough is golden brown.
