PETER ANDERSON ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL NOW TRADEMARKED
The vibrant and prominent Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival logo has changed, slightly. An R now appears as part of the logo.
Now a Registered Service Mark (circle with r icon) with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the festival logo is now the exclusive property of the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street- Tourism Bureau. The registration was acquired to protect the festival’s brand and integrity.
The distinct logo, used on festival publications and marketing materials, represents the colorful community where the festival takes place, and includes the artwork of a shearwater bird by renowned artist Peter Anderson.
Since the logo is now trademarked, rules and regulations apply to its use and the use must first be approved by the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce. Unauthorized use of
the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival logo may cause confusion, mistake, or deception about the user’s affiliation or connection with the Festival and its brand as our goal is to also protect the Anderson family legacy. It is now strictly prohibited. Use may be requested by contacting the Ocean Springs Chamber.
