FROM THE
Coming off of our September Women in Business edition, October’s Men’s Issue was a breath of fresh air. Or maybe a breath of exhaust, but I’m not complaining.
There’s a lot to take in with this issue. It’s our first ever Men’s Issue, and our team had a blast pulling it all together! We got to go behind the scenes at French
& Sons and see some seriously cool motorcycles. If you ever have some spare time and are in the area, I highly
recommend you stop by there just to hang out. Those guys are a blast, and you’re sure to learn a thing or two about vintage motorcycles.
In the spirit of this issue, we opted to showcase a garage tour rather than a feature home. Hugo Reverse’s shop is full of antiques – war-era cars, retro signs, and enough knick knacks to keep a game of I Spy going for days.
Also in this issue you’ll find the Peter Anderson Festival guide. If you’re planning to go (which you should
be – it’s an amazing festival), this guide will tell you everything you need to know. They will be available at the festival too, but why not go ahead and plot out which booths are must-sees before you go? We’ll see you there!
This month is not only Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but Dyslexia Awareness Month as well.
We’ve got some great articles on both in our Healthy Living section. Also in this section, you’ll hear some
words of wisdom from Dr. Crews at Beach View Dental.
Speaking of breast cancer awareness, Courtney Anderson with the American Cancer Society wrote this month’s Final Say. She and her Real Men Wear
Pink Ambassadors are doing some great work to cure breast cancer once and for all.
