It’s time for Moonlight Masquerade to raise funds for the Gulf Coast Women’s Center for Nonviolence. The event is set for October 23, 6 to 10 p.m., at the Redding House in Biloxi. Just in time for Halloween, the theme is Moonlight Masquerade at the Haunted Mansion.
Attendees are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes, but may instead show up in business casual attire.
“We have a goal of $40,000,” said Sandra Morrison, executive director of the Center. “Funds raised from Moonlight Masquerade are used to
support our emergency domestic violence shelter program and prevention education programs, and to raise awareness of domestic violence in the community.”
The Center’s crisis line is staffed 24-hours, seven days a week by trained volunteers. Services are free and confidential.
