Remembering Molly Lee February 11, 2004-December 5, 2020
Daughter, sister, classmate and friend, Gulfport High Junior Molly Lee never met a stranger. Molly made the most of every situation and lit up every room she walked into. A varsity cheerleader and Lady Admiral golfer, she gave her all on every eld she cheered on and every course she played on. Her friends and teammates recount that Molly was a blessing and that knowing her helped them to become the best versions of themselves.
Molly was an honor student who was
an active member of the GHS Key Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Gulfport
Cotillion Club, French Club, and a future inductee of the National Honor Society. She not only walked the halls but was a member of the halls.
She is survived by her loving parents, David Lee and Amy Anderson Lee;
her siblings and best friends, Sam Lee, Lucy Lee, and Amy Laurel “LaLa” Lee; grandparents, Susan and Eddie Collins, Mickey Anderson, Sr., Charles and Nita Lee; aunts and uncles, Mickey Anderson, Jr., Greg and Kristin Lee, Joey Lee, Stevie and Lesley Lee, Christy and David Peterson; a large extended family and a
host of lifelong friends.
The family thanks the community for
their support during this time. “It has helped so much with the process and maybe for that person who might be at home grieving over something di erent, just to use this and see that God is for real. He’s up there. And if you’re grieving, He’s going to be there to pick you up,” says Molly’s brother Sam Lee.
Memorial donations may be made to the Molly Lee Memorial Account at BancorpSouth and will be used to help students in need.
