If you have a “got to fish it” tournament list, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic set for June 5, 6, and 7 should be at the top. The fishing tourney is widely known as the premier billfish contest on the entire Coast and is known for fantastic offshore bite, record-breaking fish, and millions in cash payouts.

FESTIVAL
The largest fine arts festival in Mississippi as well as the southeast is set for November 8 and 9 with more than 200,000 people expected to attend the 47th Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival in Downtown Ocean Springs. Voted Festival of the Year in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society, the event promises 400 arts, crafts and food vendors participating and has an estimated economic impact of about $30 million for Coastal Mississippi.
CELTIC MUSIC FESTIVAL & SCOTTISH
HIGHLAND GAMES
C’ead M’ile F’ailte or a hundred thousand welcomes to you at the Annual Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Music Festival on November 8 and 9 at the Harrison County Fairgrounds. The festival will include artisans, jousting demonstrations, sheep herding demos, dancing, bagpipes, and axe throwing. Highland Games are a highlight of the festival with events for both athletes and the general public.
MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST MARATHON
Runners with all levels of experience are invited to cross the coastlines in the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon on December 13 and 14. The full marathon runners will start at Henderson Point in Pass Christian and those running a half marathon will begin the journey at Jones Park in Gulfport. Both courses are set along the beach to give runners seaside views and making the journey as scenic as it is athletically rewarding.
There are always new festivals celebrating food, music, athletics, and arts popping up each year. You just never know what exciting adventures you might find or just might find you!
Scrapin’ the Coast
 Buckle up for the wildest car, truck, and bike show to ever roll through Biloxi, the 23rd Annual Scrapin’ the Coast. The event is set for June 20 through 22 and, as always, sparks fly with promises of exotic car shows at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and cruises up and down Beach Boulevard.
CRUISIN’ THE COAST
America’s largest block party is set for October 5 through 12, and online registration is already geared up. All 12 cities across Coastal Mississippi will have events as more than 10,000 classic and antique cars will roll on in to keep the Coast classy and colorful.
INKIN’ THE COAST
The 13th Annual Inkin’ the Coast returns in mid-October with tattoo artists from all around the world flooding to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi. The three-day event features a kid’s play area and promises entertainment and after-parties.
GULFPORT HARBOR LIGHTS FESTIVAL
Beginning on November 1, the Gulfport Harbor Lights Festival will bring the holiday spirit.
This Coastal holiday winter event has expanded from a humble beginning in 2015 into the Magnolia State’s largest Christmas light show with almost two
