bike. You can explore the Davis Bayou Area at the Gulf Islands National Seashore, walk the nature trails, enjoy a picnic, kayak, or catch your dinner fishing! And Shearwater Pottery is where you can visit the historic studio and get some culture before you hike the nearby Tidelands Trail.
The Biloxi Bay Bridge is, well, it’s a bridge from Ocean Springs to Biloxi, so I guess it counts as a little of both towns. No matter, it’s a great place to walk, run, or ride your bike and get some truly amazing views of the entire area.
BILOXI
In Biloxi proper, the old standby is Biloxi Beach. It’s the old standby because it’s so awesome! You can do all the typical beach things there: swimming, jet skiing, those paddle tricycle things, kite flying, and good ol’ chillin’. Ship Island Excursions will also take you out for a day of beach activities, Fort Massachusetts, and, if you’re lucky, some dolphin watching!
GULFPORT
Who doesn’t love waterslides? In Gulfport, Gulf Islands Waterpark is a great way to spend the day zooming down their rides, slides, and playing in the pools. A visit to Jones Park offers walking trails, a marina, playgrounds, and more beaches!

PASS CHRISTIAN
Pass Christian has a wonderful historic district perfect for walking or a leisurely ride admiring the beautiful homes and views of the Gulf. You can enjoy playgrounds, tennis courts, walking trails, and memorials dedicated to local veterans at War Memorial Park. Pass Christian Beach is yet another in a long line of great beaches the Coast has on offer.
BAY ST. LOUIS
And finally, Bay St. Louis. The Bay St. Louis Historic L & N Train Depot houses the Mardi Gras Museum and is surrounded by walking trails and picnic areas. It’s also the home of the Alice Moselely Folk Art and Antique Museum, where you can tour their outdoor exhibits. And what list would be complete without mentioning Bay St. Louis Beach? A great place to hang out, enjoying beach activities as well as all of the bars, shops and restaurants in the area.
You’re never far from adventure on the Coast. Whether you’re kayaking the Escatawpa River or soaking up the sun on Pass Christian Beach, there’s always something exciting, or relaxing, depending on your mood, to do. I invite you to embrace the Coastal lifestyle and enjoy the countless outdoor adventures that make living here truly special.
