Holiday Open House is a celebration of holiday festivities in downtown, uptown, all around town at participating shops, restaurants and galleries. Local businesses come alive with Christmas cheer offering holiday specials, warm refreshments, live music, Santa sightings and more during this two-day event.
Silent Lights Festival is a campus- wide light festival that transforms WAMA into a illuminated wonderland inspired by nature and the winter solstice. Featuring performers and shadow dancers, installations by Mississippi artists, a silent disco with DJs performing
to your personal LED-equipped wireless headphones, and interactive light shows projecting animations of Walter Anderson’s timeless designs.
New Years Eve Celebration and Ball Drop is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, enjoy downtown shops and restaurants, and celebrate the holiday season in one of the Gulf Coast’s most vibrant communities.

Fresh Market is an open
air Saturday market with food and
plant growers offering plants, flowers, and locally grown fruits and vegetables. Open rain or shine each Saturday at the L&N Depot Plaza in downtown Ocean Springs.
Cruisin’ the Coast
®
welcomes nearly 10,000 classic cars to the Gulf Coast. Over the course of a week, classic cars cruise the streets and guests can enjoy activities at different venues including three days in Ocean Springs with a Friday Night Sock Hop and Street Party, Chics Picks Car Contest, live music and more. Ocean Springs has been voted as the favorite viewing spot.

Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival

Blue Moon is held the
first weekend in November each year.
The largest fine arts festival in the state, this event brings in nearly 400 artists, crafters and food vendors, a state-wide Blue Moon
art contest, and more than 100,000 visitors
to Ocean Springs. One of the top 50 festivals in the U.S.
Small Business Saturday is a shopping event hosted the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Shops provide specials, giveaways and more to kick off the holiday shopping season.
December
Annual Tree Lighting is held to celebrate the holiday season with the arrival of Santa Claus and the lighting of the town Christmas Tree. This event features Christmas carols, refreshments, Christmas crafts, letters to the North Pole provided by the U.S. Postal Service, a holiday movie on the lawn and more.
