Annual Red, White & Blueberry Festival is held in conjunction with the Ocean
Springs Fresh Market in downtown Ocean Springs and features vendors, blueberry recipes, free vanilla ice-cream topped with blueberries and strawberries, live entertainment and more.
JULY
July Sidewalk Sale is held uptown, downtown, all around town at participating businesses. For two days, participating shops, restaurants and galleries display their summer specials out front of their businesses and inside with deals on clothing, shoes, jewelry, artwork, toys, food, drinks and more. Some businesses also feature artist demonstrations and live music.
Artwalk is an annual event held over Labor
Day weekend showcasing a mixture of potters, painters, sculptors, and more as they partner with local businesses on the sidewalks outside downtown boutiques, galleries and restaurants bringing together creative commerce.
“Festival Season” begins in the fall and includes a kick-off party, silent auction, pre-parties and additional events leading up to the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival, held the first weekend of November.
OCTOBER
Cruisin’ the Coast is an annual event hosted by the Cruisin’ the Coast committee welcoming more than 8,000 classic cars to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Over the course of a week, classic cars cruise the streets and guests can enjoy activities at different venues including three days in Ocean Springs with a Friday Night Sock Hop and Street Party, Chics Picks Car Contest, live music and more.
Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival presented by Blue Moon is held the first

Mississippi Songwriters Festival is an annual 4-day music event with over 100 national songwriters and thousands of fans starting the 3rd Thursday of September in Downtown Ocean Springs.
Holiday Open House is a celebration of holiday festivities in downtown, uptown, all around town at participating shops, restaurants and galleries. Local businesses come alive with Christmas cheer offering holiday specials, warm refreshments, live music, Santa sightings and more during this two-day event.

Annual Tree Lighting is a community event held to celebrate the holiday season with the arrival of Santa Claus and the lighting of the town Christmas Tree. This event features Christmas carols, refreshments, Christmas crafts, letters to the North Pole provided by the U.S. Postal Service, a holiday movie on the lawn and more.
DECEMBER
Silent Lights Festival is a campus-
wide light festival that transforms WAMA into a illuminated wonderland inspired by nature and the winter solstice. Featuring performers and shadow dancers, installations by Mississippi artists, a silent disco with DJs performing to your personal LED- equipped wireless headphones, and interactive light shows projecting animations of Walter Anderson’s timeless designs.
YEAR-ROUND
Ocean Springs Fresh Market is an open air Saturday market with food and plant growers offering plants, flowers, and locally grown fruits and vegetables. Open rain or shine each Saturday at the L&N Depot Plaza in downtown Ocean Springs.
