times, and claimed the division rifle championship at 300 yards.
At the young age of 19,
Chet became a commissioned officer and in 1967 landed
with his platoon in South
Vietnam where he saw
combat with the 101

nine months. Following
separation from active duty,
Chet went on to be a National Guard captain, construction surveyor, stockbroker, investigator, lawyer and father.
Chet married fellow lawyer Gail after
law school and the two established Nicholson

In 2009, Chet authored a regional best-seller “Dream Room, Tales of the Dixie Mafia.” He completed a second book “No Level Ground” and a third book is essentially complete, “Coast Rats, More Tales of the Dixie Mafia.” Chet loved literature, music, adventure, and his family.
Chet passed away in 2014. He and Gail had been Coldwell Banker Alfonso Realty’s corporate attorneys for more than 20 years. We support the Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
