Gaming facilities development
and improvements have continued through the years since 1992. Millions of dollars invested in South Mississippi casinos over the past couple of years have brought new restaurants, meeting rooms, hotel rooms and other amenities to the Coast. The inventory of rooms and suites grew by 500 from June 2014
to June 2015 at the 11 Coast casinos operating during that time. Island View’s $58 million Beach Tower hotel brought a touch of glamour with its colorful exterior light display.
Since June, Silver Slipper Casino in Hancock County opened a hotel with 360 rooms and Scarlet Pearl opened
a 300-room hotel with each room having floor to ceiling windows to take advantage of the views.
BELOW: Luxurious spas are just one of many amenities the Gulf Coast casinos have to offer. OPPOSITE PAGE: World-class gaming, 5-Star dining and accommodations, and award-winning golf courses are some others.
