Flowers, Bearden, Davis advance at Fitz Casino
TUNICA — Fitz Casino Hotel announced the promotions of Michael Flowers, Latoya Bearden and Sheila Davis. Flowers, who has been with Fitz for more than four years and in the gaming industry since 1995, was promoted to senior director of the IT department.

Bearden has been promoted to casino shift manager. She has been a key team member at the casino for almost three years and in the gaming industry for 29 years. Bearden began her career in the table games department
and has a vast skill set in all areas of casino operations.
Davis has been promoted to dual rate casino shift manager. With more than 21 years at Fitz and 29 years in the gaming industry, she has a wealth of knowledge about casino operations.

Hard Rock Biloxi welcomes new directors
BILOXI — Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi recently welcomed Troy Wolford as executive director of finance and Ellen Peer as director of player services.
Wolford comes from Bally’s Quad Cities, Hard Rock’s sister casino
in Rock Island, Illinois. He started there as controller in 2012 and was promoted to senior director of finance in 2018. A retired 22-year veteran
of the Illinois Army National Guard, Wolford has a degree in accounting from Monmouth College. In his new post, he is responsible for overseeing
finances, budgets and the financial position of the company. Wolford said his goal is to emphasize the importance of collaboration and teamwork.
Peer has more than 20 years of casino experience, specifically in
the cage and player services areas. In her role as director of player services, Peer has been tasked
with securing company funds and ensuring that the department is well maintained and operating effectively and efficiently.

Boomtown promotes two
BILOXI — Boomtown Casino Biloxi announced two recent promotions. David Sloan was promoted to assistant director of casino operations and Elbert Rogers was promoted
to assistant director of support operations.
Sloan started his gaming career in 1994 with Boyd Gaming before transferring to Harrah’s New Orleans. He relocated to Hollywood Casino Tunica in 1995, where he spent 20 years in various leadership roles in casino operations and finance. Sloan made the move to Biloxi in 2016
as the casino operations manager at Boomtown.

During his time on the
Gulf Coast, he has worked at both Boomtown and Hollywood in his current position, and has also worked on special projects at Penn properties across the country.
In 2008, Rogers was hired as a security officer at Boomtown’s sister property, Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast, and was quickly promoted to security supervisor. He was promoted again in 2014 to guest safety manager at Boomtown, where he also served roles as risk and safety manager, valet, transportation and security manager.
In his new position, he will continue his responsibilities of security and risk and safety, with the addition of the facilities and EVS departments.
Golden Nugget has new manager
BILOXI — Kelli Coleman was recently promoted to beverage manager at Golden Nugget Biloxi.
Coleman joined the property in 2013 as a cocktail server and was quickly promoted to high limits and Rush Lounge cocktail server based on her exceptional customer service, work ethic, and drive to succeed.
In 2018, she was promoted to beverage supervisor where she continued to grow by proving her dedication to the company and her ability to develop and lead a team.
