top Rockers
BILOXI — Hard Rock celebrated several outstanding employees, known as Rockers, at the Rocker of the Quarter luncheon in October.
Rockers of the Quarter for the
third quarter of the year were Tammy Stephenson, table games, and Gerald Lowe, porters. Stephenson has been with Hard Rock for five years. Her manager said she is great with guests and fellow Rockers, and always has a wonderful attitude. A 13- year employee, Lowe’s manager said he is
a key member of the team, always helping a guest or fellow team member when needed.
George Rainey, receiving, was named Producer of the
Quarter. His
manager said he
consistently upholds the standards set by Hard Rock, working with his team as a hands-on manager.
Each winner
received a trophy,
certificate, lapel pin,
reserved parking space, and cash prize.

TUNICA — Horseshoe Tunica named its most recent Star Performers, team members nominated by their co-workers, supervisors, and managers. These team members are said to have gone beyond their normal job duties to create an extraordinary experience for guests.
Receiving Star Performer recognition were Abou Sow, stocker; Adrienne Scott, casino floor supervisor; Carnithia Thomas, surveillance operator; Janet Grogan-
Taylor, casino marketing; Teresa Red, surveillance operator; Charley Newson, dealer; Soheila Kamkar, dealer; Tony Sanders, security supervisor; Yvette Whiteside, casino marketing; Shamario Taylor, casino marketing; Yolanda Murphy, security; and Mary Reynolds, EVS lead.
Star Performers each receive 10,000 Total Return Credits, which can be used to purchase gifts through a team member site.

Bally’s Vicksburg named its Team
Member and Team Leader of the
Quarter. For the second quarter
of 2023, Derrick Clark (left, with
basket), slot tech supervisor,
was named Team Leader of the
Quarter, and Henry Johnson, EVS
attendant, was named Team Member of the Quarter. The winners, shown with
executives and other team members, each received a cash award along with special parking, a gift basket and an invitation to the annual awards banquet.
