Cool gifts waiting for players in August
MISSISSIPPI — Belonging to a players club can lead to certain perks, one of those being the chance to receive gifts from the casino. Players who earn a set amount of points in August can receive a variety of great items, including sturdy tools, outdoor tailgating supplies and even electric griddles.
It is easy to get these gifts. Be sure to have your club card properly inserted in the slot machine or give the card to pit personnel when playing table games to accumulate points. Points and rated play will add up, and will lead the way to getting the gifts. Earn the number of points on the required days. Then follow the instructions on how to claim the special gift.
Silver Slipper Casino Hotel has an August gift to handle all that is bugging players. Players club members who earn 4,000 tier points or $40 in Table Game Comp Dollars during the month can receive a 3-in-1 bug
zapper. After earning the points,
print out the gift voucher at the
kiosk and pick up the bug zapper
at Players Services. Zappers are
available while supplies last, one
per person.
Get a ‘sunsational’ Steve Azar
gift at Pearl River Resort in August. On Fridays and Saturdays, starting Aug. 9 and continuing through Aug. 31, players club members who earn 100 base points each promotion day between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. will receive a gift. Items include a Steve Azar table blender, coffee maker, grill with plate and electric griddle. Gift pick-up is at the old arcade from 10 to 6 p.m. Get one gift per week while supplies last.
At Bally’s Vicksburg, players club members are earning points in August for a collection of gifts perfect for getting things done around the house. Players who have $300 coin-in on Sundays can swipe at any promotional kiosk to print a ticket to be redeemed at the Riverroom between 1 and 5 p.m. Gifts include a Bulldog corded palm sander, a 142-piece tool set, a corded jigsaw and a wet/dry shop vacuum. There is a limit of one gift per person each week.
At WaterView Casino Hotel, players can earn points in August to get gifts in the Earn & Get Gift Giveaway. On Fridays (excluding Aug. 30), MyEdge cardholders who earn 75 points can swipe at any promotional kiosk for a ticket. Redeem the ticket in the Event Center to receive an outdoor item, including a portable table, cooler carrying case, portable chair and more. The gift giveaway takes place from 3 to 7 p.m.
Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel is giving away a Brookstone turbo vac on Saturday, Aug. 10. Players club members who earn 250+ points that day can visit the players club from noon to 10 p.m. to pick up the vaccum.
