 Geyser Falls at Pearl River Resort now open
CHOCTAW — Geyser Falls Water of glistening water and
  Theme Park opens for the 2024 summer season Saturday, May 18. With a variety of slides, relaxing beaches and comfortable beachfront dining, Geyser Falls is a great place for family and friends to spend the summer together.
One of the largest waterparks in the Southeast, Geyser Falls can comfortably accommodate more than 4,000 guests. It spans 23 acres and includes 13 water slides, a six-story freefall speed slide, a gigantic wave pool, an exotic lazy river, a four-lane racing slide, a children’s water playground and Clearwater Key, which has eight acres
white sand beaches that can comfortably accommodate more than 2,500 guests.
Guests at Clearwater Key can enjoy cabana and float rentals, a calming dip in the Rainbow Springs Hot Pool, delicious treats from My Tie Café and shopping for souvenirs at the retail shop. Clearwater Key also has a full-service restaurant, swimming pool, tiki bar, beach volleyball and more.

 On the opening weekend, May 18 and 19, hours are 11a.m.to6p.m.May18 and noon to 6 p.m. May 19.
The park will open daily May 25 through Aug. 4. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
From Aug. 10 through Sept. 1, Geyser Falls will be open Saturdays only from
11 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2, the park will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Season passes and daily tickets are available for purchase online and at the gate. Ages three and under are free. Pearl River Resort also offers discount tickets at the gate for military, first responders, and Tribal members. One must show a proper ID for the discount.

   Dive into summer with casino pools, outdoor dining
 GULF COAST — Dive right in, the water is perfect. If that sounds good, then casino pools are the place to be. Along with swimming and relaxing in the sun, these areas have much to offer. Sip cocktails, dance to music and party with friends. While the pool areas are open to hotel guests at no charge, many casinos offer day passes to non-hotel guests. Here are a few places to visit and make a splash.
Hard Rock’s popular Tequila Sundays pool parties return Sunday, May 19, giving the summer season a jump start. Every Sunday, starting at noon, guests can relax in the pool, enjoy drink and food specials and listen to music. There is a $30 charge.
Plus, Tequila’s on the Gulf, an ideal place for a relaxing poolside lunch, opens daily at 11 a.m. starting May 9. The outdoor eatery features specialty cocktails and a full menu of poolside favorites,
including quesadillas, tacos and much more.
At Harrah’s Gulf Coast, a DJ will be on the pool deck every Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. treating guests to the best in summertime music. Day passes to the pool are available for $19.99 Monday through Thursday and for $24.99 Friday through Sunday. There is no charge for hotel guests.
The pool at Treasure Bay will be rockin’ all summer long with music, drink specials and more. Day passes for those 21-plus are available at Agua for $10 Monday through Friday, $20 Saturday and Sunday, and $25 for special events. Be sure to bring a towel. There is no charge for hotel guests.
Agua, the pool bar and grill, is open weekends, but starting May 27, it stays open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The pool bar serves up a selection of top liquors
and mixed drinks, and the menu includes a variety of starters, sandwiches and wraps all made fresh to order. The pool terrace, home to two tropical swimming pools and a garden area, is located directly behind the hotel tower.
Beau Rivage’s Pool Bar & Café is now open seven days a week for hotel guests. Cool off with one of Beau Rivage’s signature pool drinks or take a bite out of food while basking in the sun. The pool bar is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the pool café is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
At Palace Casino Resort, Wahoo’s Poolside Bar is open from 4 to 8 p.m. Fridays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. The bar features frozen drinks and cocktails along with a variety of appetizers, wraps, sandwiches and sides.
