 MISSISSIPPI — Hop to it — you don’t want to miss the casino dining specials being offered on Easter Sunday. Chefs are working hard on brunch favorites, lunch specialties and dinner menus to make the day “eggstra” special for all. For those restaurants needing reservations, better act quick like a bunny. Easter is Sunday, March 31.
Hard Rock
Hard Rock Biloxi is hosting a special Easter buffet on March 31. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., dine on traditional holiday favorites — and much more. The cost is $34.99 for all-you-can-eat. Diners can add three clusters of snow crab for an additional $16.99. Plus, enjoy complimentary champagne and mimosas.
Treasure Bay
Enjoy an Easter brunch at Treasure Bay on March 31. Served in the infinity buffet, a special holiday meal featuring smoked brisket, stuffed salmon, carved ham, smoked sausage, seafood gumbo, and crab legs, plus a variety of breakfast favorites will be served. Be sure to save room for one of the many desserts. Easter brunch will be served 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for $43.19 with players club card. Brunch without crab is $25.49. The buffet is located on the second floor and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Palace Casino Resort
Celebrate Easter at Palace Casino Resort where both the Palace Buffet and Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood have special meals for the March 31 holiday. In the buffet, a holiday menu featuring prime rib, ham, roasted turkey and smoked brisket and all the favorites from the Grill, Comfort, Wok and Coastal stations will be offered. Seafood gumbo, smoked pork ribs, mashed potatoes, dirty rice, fried green tomatoes, and fried catfish, chicken and shrimp are just a few of the offerings, along with macaroni and
cheese, beef pot roast, and flounder topped with crawfish sauce.
There will also be a variety of desserts. The holiday buffet is served from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $33 with players club card ($35 without).
In Mignon’s Steaks
& Seafood, a three-course gourmet dinner ($75) will be offered from noon to 6 p.m. Start the meal with a choice of a Mediterranean salad or spring soup, featuring asparagus, pea, potato, leeks and fried garlic.
There are three choices for the main course: Gulf grouper with capers, jumbo lump crab and shrimp in a beurre blanc sauce; two 8-ounce lamb chops with mint pesto; or a 14-ounce cut of prime rib with au jus, grilled asparagus and baked sharp cheddar grits. And Key lime tiramisu is the holiday dessert.
The a la carte menu is available, too. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling (228) 432-8888 or booking at opentable.com.
Beau Rivage
Hop on over to Beau Rivage for Easter Sunday feasts. A special Easter menu will be featured at The Buffet on March 31. Menu items include roasted leg of lamb, pineapple-glazed ham, oven-roasted pee wee potatoes, broccolini and more. The meal will be available from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Easter Sunday for $49.99 for adults and $25.99 for children. Weekend brunch earlier in the day is served from 8 to 11 a.m. for $32.99 for adults and $19.99 for children.
And, Salt & Ivy presents a special three- course meal featuring herb-roasted lamb with Yukon Gold potato gratin and roasted Brussels sprouts severed with a berries and spinach salad. Fresh berries and Chantilly cream top a layered devil’s food cake for dessert. This meal will be served from
11 a.m. to midnight, along with regular menu offerings served from 6 a.m. to midnight. Reservations
are encouraged.
Silver Slipper
Silver Slipper Casino Hotel is offering a holiday menu on Easter Day in the Jubilee Buffet on March 31. Favorites will be available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a Champagne brunch served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $49.95. Along with the complete buffet offerings, there will be prime rib, crab and
shrimp all day.
In the Blue Bayou Bar & Grill, two
holiday specials will be available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Easter Day. Enjoy spinach and mushroom pork roulade ($52) topped with spiced apple gastrique, served with garlic mashed potatoes and green bean almandine, or pan-seared Chilean sea bass ($62) smothered in lemon caper butter sauce, served with roasted Parmesan potatoes and grilled asparagus topped with jumbo lump crab meat. Plus, the restaurant’s full menu will also be available. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling (228) 469-2777, ext. 2870.
Island View Casino
Celebrate all things spring at Island View Casino Resort on March 31 at The Buffet, C&G Grille, and Dockside Deli. Guests must be at least 21.
On March 31, The Buffet, located in Island View Casino, will offer a special Easter menu. The bountiful holiday selections will include shrimp and artichoke soup, Creole seafood gumbo, crawfish macaroni and cheese, Creole-boiled large Gulf shrimp with remoulade, and slow-smoked pork with carrots, potatoes and jus.
