No need to stress over the shopping, cooking and cleaning on Christmas Day when there is another way. Do what the Claus family does and head over to your favorite casino for a holiday meal full of all the traditional favorites plus some new offerings. Casino chefs in the buffets, cafes, and fine dining restaurants have been planning for the big day, even making their own lists and, yes, checking them twice. And if you have little reindeer at home, there is even an option to get a pre-cooked meal to go.

Silver Slipper
Two Christmas Day specials are being offered at Silver Slipper Casino Hotel. Enjoy a bountiful harvest
in the Jubilee Buffet ($49.95). Traditional holiday specialties will be served all day along with Dungeness crab and the full menu of favorites. The buffet will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Dollar Days promotion is not valid.
The Blue Bayou Bar & Grill will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Day with two special features. For both meals, start with a Christmas salad featuring baby spinach with candied pecans, dried cranberries, Mandarin orange, goat
and a citrus vinaigrette. For the entrée, choose either crispy roasted half duck ($58) with braised red cabbage,

Island View
Enjoy Christmas specials at Island View Casino Resort, where four restaurants are dishing up holiday meals. Dining guests must be 21
and older.
The Diner will be
serving a choice of house salad or seafood gumbo with roast turkey, dressing and gravy with cranberry sauce and green beans ($20). For dessert, enjoy a slice of sweet potato pie. This favorite will be served 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
At C&G Grille start with a choice of either house salad or seafood gumbo. For the main course choose one of the following entrées: roast turkey served with dressing, or glazed bone-in ham steak,
port wine
demi-glace
and whipped roasted garlic mash, or blackened pork loin ($58) with pomegranate glaze, bacon-braised crispy Brussels sprouts and sweet potato gratin. The full menu will also be available.
