Chefs whipping up feasts to be gobbled on Thanksgiving Day
MISSISSIPPI — Casino chefs have been hard at work making sure guests have the best for their holiday celebrations. Thanksgiving feasts are sure to include roasted turkey and favorites such as cornbread dressing and sweet potatoes. Plus, there will be ham, casseroles, salads, vegetables, desserts and much more. The holiday meals can be found in buffets, cafés and even in the fine dining restaurants. Plus, there is a “take it to go” option.
Unless otherwise noted, the holiday meals below are all available on Thursday, Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day.
Scarlet Pearl
Casino Resort
A Southern turkey plate is just one of the holiday meal specials at Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort. Found at Under the Oak Cafe, the turkey plate ($27) features Cajun-smoked turkey with zesty Louisiana geaux juice gravy, cornbread dressing, spinach Madeleine, seasoned mashed potatoes, haricots verts and cranberry sauce. For dessert, dive into a slice of sweet potato pie ($14) topped with maple cinnamon cream cheese and candied pecans.
Scarlet’s Steaks & Seafood will also have holiday specials on Thanksgiving Day.
Hard Rock Biloxi
Find holiday satisfaction at Hard Rock Biloxi. In the Satisfaction Buffet, guests can partake in a Thanksgiving Day buffet ($44.99).
Favorites, including smoked turkey and honey ham, will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cornbread stuffing, candied yams, and macaroni and cheese are a few more of the traditional choices offered, as well as pumpkin
pie and banana pudding.
