Horseshoe Tunica gives $26K to non-profits
A variety of organizations throughout the Mid-South benefit
TUNICA – Horseshoe Tunica shared details recently on a $26,000 donation from the Caesars Foundation to support non- profit organizations in Memphis, including under served youth, and people experiencing housing or food insecurity, civil rights, and more.
Through funds collected from the Caesars Foundation, Horseshoe Tunica is pleased to assist in the further success of five organizations. The donations will support critical needs to help each of them to expand their reach.
“We are honored to support the great work that’s done right here in the Mid-South,” said Derrick Madison, senior vice president and general manager of Horseshoe Tunica. “As a company, we believe that together we win, and that extends to our communities in which we all live. Our Team Members have always made giving back a priority, and we are honored for the opportunity to support all five of these incredible organizations who work so hard to make positive impacts in our communities.”
Organizations receiving funding include:
National Civil Rights Museum – $7,500
Women’s Foundation – $7,500
Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital Foundation – $5,000 United Way of the Mid-South – $5,000
Memphis Child Advocacy – $1,000

with a gift, which will help them continue their programs to help those in need,” said Madison. “Thanks to the Caesars Foundation and charitable funds raised through donated change and gaming vouchers, our mission to serve our communities will continue to thrive.”
