MGHA donates $3,000 to the Community Foundation
TUNICA — The Mississippi Casino Cup, a golf tournament held recently at Tunica National Golf and Tennis Center, generated fun, fellowship and a donation to the Community Founcation. After the tournament, a $3,000 check was presented to the foundation to go to area food pantries.
Fitz donates to help those in need

Gold Strike makes Thanksgiving better for local famlies
Help is on the way.
TUNICA — Gold Strike Casino Resort is helping fill holiday tables this year by part- nering with two organizations to provide funding for Thanksgiving turkey deliveries to hundreds of northwest Mississippi fami- lies.
Gold Strike is partnering with the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) and the 10 Point Coalition to deliver turkeys to local se- nior citizens that call Tunica County home. The program is designed provide a holiday meals to these citizens while also giving gratitude to the area’s senior community that TCSO says is often overlooked.
The gaming destination is also fund- ing the delivery of turkeys through Sacred Heart Southern Missions. It’s been a Gold Strike tradition to help Sacred Heart pro- vide Thanksgiving boxes and birds across its five-county service area. In 2022, Sacred Heart delivered more than 1,500 turkeys to those in need throughout northwest Missis- sippi communities.
With Christmas around the corner, Gold Strike Casino Resort is also partnering with Sacred Heart Southern Missions to donate gifts to community children through its an- nual Angel Tree.
