WSOP Circuit events start Jan. 18
TUNICA - The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Event returns to Horseshoe Tunica Jan. 18 through 29. It features 16 numbered Ring Events, including a $1,700 buy-in main event with a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, and mega satellites with prizes that include seats in numbered events and even the main event.
The tournament at Horseshoe Tunica is part of the 2023-2024 WSOP Circuit and marks the return of the circuit series to Tunica for 2024.
The 2023-2024 season includes 25 stops over a 10-month period. At the conclusion of the Circuit season, every player who won a ring throughout
the year — live and online — will be automatically entered into the Tournament of Champions at the 2024 World Series of Poker
in Las Vegas, which is a $1 million freeroll. “We are on pace to make history with the
largest WSOP of all time this year and have already hosted ten record-breaking events so far...,” said Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the World Series of Poker Ty Stewart.
Before the official event kicks off at Horseshoe Tunica,
there is typically a casino employees no-limit hold’em (NLH) side event the night before (Wednesday, Jan. 17). Check with poker room for confirmation.
The schedule for the WSOP Circuit at Horseshoe Tunica is as follows for official WSOP Ring Events, one-day unless noted otherwise, all re-entry:
Event #7 (2 days): Monday, Jan. 22 – Pot Limit Omaha ($25K gtd. prize pool) - $400 buy-in – 4 p.m.
Event #8 A & B (2 days): Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 23 and 24 - NLH Monster Stack ($100,000 gtd. prize pool) - $400 buy-in - 11 a.m. both days.
Event #9: Wednesday, Jan. 24 – NLH Turbo - $300 buy-in – 4 p.m.
Event #10 (2 days): Thursday, Jan. 25 - Black Chip Bounty NLH ($50K gtd. prize pool) - $600 buy-in
- 11 a.m.
Event #11: Friday-Sunday, Jan. 26-28 (3 days)
– WSOPC Main Event A, B, Final ($500K gtd. prize pool) - $1,700 buy-in - 12 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.
Event #12: Friday, Jan. 26 - NLH - $400 buy-in – 4 p.m.
Event #13: Saturday, Jan. 27 - NLH ($25K gtd. prize pool) - $400 buy-in - 4 p.m.
Event #14: Sunday, Jan. 28 - NLH Seniors (ages 50+, $50K gtd. prize pool) - $300 buy-in – 10 a.m.
Event #15: Sunday, Jan. 28 (2 days) - No-Limit Hold’em Big 30K ($25K gtd. prize pool) - $400 buy-in – 3 p.m.
Event #16: Monday, Jan. 29 – Double Stack ($25K gtd. prize pool) - $400 buy-in - 11 a.m.
WSOPC Satellites typically feature attractive buy-ins and are scheduled twice daily with morning and afternoon start times. Main Event Satellites typically have buy-ins in the $250 range and occur closer to the main event. Check with poker room for
